I have concerns about supplemental fees--anything that allows internet utilities to charge us customers more money must always be treated with high skepticism. My internet/TV bill keeps going up each month and they don't need another excuse to raise it even more. This doesn't seem to provide the customers any benefits from the arrangement, unless the Commission is capable of controlling rates down the road or mandating investment in affordable (less than $99/household) fiber optics services, like in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Especially. given the hidden fees, such as the $3.99 "Internet Cost Recovery Fee" they already snuck in, I remain skeptical of the benefits of this deal for the consumers.
